This website is mainly about the (Dutch) comic hero Dick Boss and his creator Alfred Mazure, also known as Maz. He was famous for his comics like Jane, daughter of Jane, Romeo Brown and Sam Stone.
Furthermore you'll find a detailed overview of other 'old' Dutch comics like Lex Brand, Spot Morton, Tom Wels etc.
The little comic books are in general made between the early 1940s and the end of the 1960s. Often there is very little information available about the author. The most famous comic figure in the Netherlands still remains Dick Boss, created by Alfred Mazure.
I'll try to give you as much information as possible about these comics. I've used the 'Stripkatalogus', made by Matla, as a reference when I mention titles and authors.
This website can always be improved with additions and updates. If you have a better sample of one of the comics, please send me a computerscan (150 or 300dpi). In this way I can expand my homepage (and make it even better!). I'm also looking for (better quality) comic books. So, if you want to sell them, you can contact me by e-mail.

Furthermore I'm looking for books, newspapers and magazines (Dutch, English, French etc.) with illustrations or made by Alfred Mazure (MAZ), but I also want to gather information about the other authors.
